• Authentication Data: When you sign in using Google, we receive basic profile information provided by Google, including your name, profile picture, and a unique identifier. We do not receive or store your Google password.
• User-Generated Content: If you choose to save your work to the cloud, we collect and store the LaTeX equation strings you generate.
• Usage Data (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns (such as pages visited, time spent on the app, and general location data). This data is processed in a way that does not directly identify anyone.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly to provide and improve our services to you:

• To associate your saved equations with your specific user account.
• To enforce our daily usage limits (10 cloud items saved per day).
• To display your name and avatar in the application dashboard.
• To analyze website traffic and optimize the performance of the editor.

3. Data Storage and Automatic Deletion

We believe in data minimization. Your equations are stored on our secure databases to allow cross-device syncing. However, to respect your privacy and manage server resources, all saved equation parameters are automatically deleted after 10 days of continuous account inactivity.

Note on Image Generation: When you click "Save Image" to export your equation as a PNG, the image generation happens locally inside your browser using HTML Canvas. Your equation is not sent to our servers for rendering, ensuring your real-time editing process remains completely private.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use your browser's Local Storage to save an authentication token (`authToken`). This keeps you logged in between sessions so you do not have to sign in every time you visit. If you click "Sign Out," this token is immediately erased from your device.

Google Analytics also places cookies on your device to help us track site usage. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Your Data Rights

You have full control over your cloud data. You can:

• Delete specific items: Use the trash icon next to any saved equation in your dashboard to permanently drop it from our database.
• Clear all data: Simply remain inactive for 10 days, and our system will automatically scrub your saved equations from the cloud.

6. Third-Party Services

Our application integrates with trusted third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Google Sign-In & Analytics: For authentication and usage tracking.
• MathLive, KaTeX, & Other Libraries: We use Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) like jsDelivr and Cloudflare to load the code required to run the editor. When you load our site, your IP address may be temporarily logged by these CDNs as part of standard web traffic routing.
